The Creative Journal

This 8 week series on the Zoom platform will give you the opportunity to explore art methods using journals for self-expression and healing while in community. We will work with different media and techniques including paint, pencils, poetry, collage, journal prompts, printing and much more.

        The cost is $165 for the full 8 weeks

  • Mondays - Noon ET Begins October 5

  • Tuesdays - 7 PM ET Begins October 6

  • Wednesdays- 4PM ET Begins October 7

  • Thursdays - Noon ET Begins October  15

SoulCollage®

SoulCollage® is a process of self discovery where you make a deck of collaged cards which refelct your world. Materials used are simple - cards, images, scissors and glue. After creating the cards you can use them for dialogue and self - understanding. This workshop is in tended for people with at least a little experience with SoulCollage®. If you haven't then we can arrange a special introductory session for an additional cost. 

The cost is $40 per class

From 11:00 AM ET until 2:00 PM ET on Zoom

What is Dissociative Creative Explorations?

It is a supportive program for individuals with dissociation, offering a space for connection, creativity, and learning.

Who can join the program?

The program is designed for individuals experiencing dissociation or those aware of their internal parts, including those with Complex PTSD, DID, and OSDD. On occasion, a group might include supporters and therapists, but that would be clearly noted.

What activities are offered in the program?

We offer creative workshops on the Zoom platform. Examples are The Creative Journal, Altered Books Exploration, SoulCollage®, and Creative Writing to foster expression and connection.

Are the sessions therapeutic?

No, the sessions provide a non-therapy space focused on creative expression and community connection rather than formal therapy.

The program is led by Alix Amar, LCSW, a therapist with over 30 years of experience in trauma and dissociation.
